Privacy Policy
Welcome to the Donut Coin ecosystem — powered by code, fueled by community, and sprinkled with transparency. We take your privacy seriously, even if we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains how we (well, more accurately, the tools we use) collect, use, and safeguard information when you interact with the Donut Coin website or ecosystem.
Spoiler alert: we don’t want your personal data. We’re here for decentralization — not surveillance.
What We Collect (Almost Nothing)
We don’t collect personal data unless you willingly give it to us. The Donut Coin platform is decentralized and doesn’t require accounts, emails, names, or phone numbers to participate.
That said, like most websites, we might collect basic, non-identifiable info such as: • IP address • Browser type • Operating system • Referring URLs • Time and date of access • Cookie preferences (because cookies are great, but Donuts are better)
This data is purely for analytics, debugging, and making sure the site doesn’t explode.
Cookies (The Digital Kind, Not the Delicious Ones)
We use cookies to: • Keep the website running smoothly • Understand how users interact with the platform • Improve UX (User Experience, not Unicorn Experience — we don’t do unicorns here)
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Just know that the site might act a little weird without them.
Third-Party Tools (a.k.a. Not Us)
We may use tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms to understand traffic and usage patterns. These services may collect anonymized data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We don’t sell or share your data. Period.
Blockchain Data is Public — Forever
When you interact with Donut Coin via your wallet, your public wallet address and transaction history are, well… public. That’s how blockchains work.
We don’t — and can’t — link your wallet to your real identity. But keep in mind that everything you do on-chain is recorded and visible on explorers like Solscan.
If that freaks you out, we suggest reading up on what a blockchain is before diving in.
We Don’t Store Sensitive Data
We do not collect or store: • Private keys • Passwords • Seed phrases • Your cat’s name or your first crush in elementary school
Your wallet is your responsibility. Keep your keys safe. We can’t help you recover them — we don’t have access, and that’s the whole point of decentralization.
Children Under 18
If you’re under 18, go do your homework. Donut Coin is not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Seriously, go study. Crypto will still be here when you’re ready.
Changes to This Policy
We might update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If we do, we’ll post the new version here. We’re not into fine print surprises — unless they come with sprinkles.
Contact Us (If You Really Want To)
Just remember: we’re decentralized, not Amazon customer service. Be cool.
Final Word
We believe in user sovereignty, digital privacy, and keeping things simple. We’re here to build tools — not track behavior. Your data is yours. Your wallet is yours. Your keys are yours.
Because that’s how crypto should be.
Welcome to the Donut Project.
